2024 Beautiful couple are very proper. They take forever to openly express their true love for another. On screen. The theme of this story is delightful for those reasons. Pure respect for each other ❤...😊
Where s the passion? All through out the scene, they are just breathing at each other. There’s not even a kiss. This is a very intense love story but without any intimacy or passionate kiss. There are so many scenes that they could have kiss but nothing. Just one peck in the lips in the car and that’s the only kiss. No more. It could have been a great movie if there’s passion and intimacy. It is a love story after all
Ren Jia Lun changed his contract to no lip kissing after he got married, so writers work in different ways to show the slow progression of love and passion. I think they did it very effectively. Although married, this was to be their first real intimacy. And especially that line - You'll sweat later, with her unbuttoning his shirt. You know what is coming, but you don't have to see it (plus the morning after scene, where they aren't fully clothed). The character was a very quiet, reserved guy, and quite naive when it came to love and romance. That sort of person isn't one to jump into intimate situations. They tend to freeze and pull back.
He is an actor. As a good actor, you have to portray your role believable. There are so many married actors who doesn’t limit their romantic scenes. Their partners understand that this is just acting, their job to portray. This movie is really nice but it could have been way more better if they didn’t limit the intimate and romantic scenes that is appropriate to the story of the movie.
